The decision to seek, and find, the wisdom of painting in the chaos of the
present day, recuperating the lessons of the great masters of the past to
breathe life into the art of the present; color, light and brush strokes
reach us from afar to be translated into a personal
exploration of sentiment and aesthetics.
Landscapes, nudes and still life are managed to depict both the real and
the emotions that they transmit, and find a solid way forward chromatic
impastos, atmospheres, and tonalities
that are suffused one minute but intense the next.
